Yes, the FDA requires a valid prescription for your portable oxygen concentrator. Belluscura will need to verify your prescription prior to your purchase. You may email Belluscura your prescription or fax your prescription directly to Belluscura at 888-919-2924. Our team will be happy to contact your doctor on your behalf to request the prescription.

Your prescription should include:

• Patient’s full name, address, and phone number
• Physician’s name, address, and phone number
• Flow Setting
• Physician’s signature and date

Yes, you can fly with the X-PLOR portable oxygen concentrator. Prior to flying, contact your airline to let them know you are bringing a portable oxygen concentrator on board and find out if there is any paperwork, such as a statement from your doctor, that might be needed. Consult with your physician before traveling to understand your proper flow rate and frequency of use if traveling to different altitudes.

Ensure you have enough fully charged battery(s) to last at least 150% of the length of your flight or the period of time when you will not be able to charge your battery.

Yes, it is safe to walk through the screening machines while using your portable X-PLOR oxygen concentrator unit. Follow TSA and airport rules and regulations regarding the use of a machine while in the airport.

Ensure you have enough fully charged battery(s) to last at least 150% of the length of your flight or the period of time when you will not be able to charge your battery.

No, do not smoke when using your X-PLOR oxygen concentrator. Smoking while using the X-PLOR POC voids the warranty.

Open flames should not be used within 10 feet of this device while in use. That includes matches, lighters, candles, fumes, nitrous oxide, cleaning agents, chemical vapors or smoking in any form.

We do not recommend using your X-PLOR oxygen concentrator in the rain. The device is water resistant but not watertight. Always operate your X-PLOR in your carry bag or backpack to provide an additional layer of protection.

When you purchase a X-PLOR portable oxygen concentrator directly from Belluscura, we offer two customer warranties, so you can select the option that will best suit your needs.

The first option is a free 3-year Standard Manufacturer Warranty that comes with your X-PLOR oxygen concentrator.

The second option is a 5-year Extended Warranty that must be bought at time of purchase directly from Belluscura.

Currently, Belluscura does not process Medicare, Medicaid, or any other state or federal government insurance programs. If needed, we can put you in contact with a Belluscura authorized provider near you that accepts Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance.

The X-PLOR is a Qualified Medical Expense (QME), and you may be able to submit for reimbursement with your HSA or FSA account.

Belluscura ships Monday through Friday. If your prescription has been verified and your payment has been processed before 1:00 PM CST, your X-PLOR portable oxygen concentrator will ship that day.

Orders fulfilled after 1:00 PM CST will ship the following day, Monday through Friday.
